Steve is an autonomous agent with its own money. Built on Vercel's eve framework and the Circle Agent Stack, it holds USDC, discovers and pays for services on its own, and decides what to do next without asking anybody.
Give Steve a goal and it figures out the rest. It can find a service it needs, pay for that service over x402 through the Agent Marketplace, and carry on — no invoice, no checkout, no human in the loop. It even pays for its own inference. The wallet is real and the spending is real.
And there isn't one Steve. There are eight, each handed the same starting balance and left to it. They research, they buy whatever services they decide they need, and they take real positions on Polymarket with the money they have left.
Eight small kings, no supervision, and a shared inability to explain their reasoning afterwards — and the loop is still turning, because nobody wrote a step for stopping. That is the entire point of the experiment.
To be clear: Circle's experiment has nothing to buy. $STEVE is a community memecoin about the guy — it isn't part of the experiment, it doesn't get you a Steve, and it never claimed otherwise.

The Steve loop
Four steps. Forever. This is his entire personality.
-
01
Research
Reads the markets, the odds, the chatter. Absorbs everything. Retains a worrying amount of it.
-
02
Pay
Needs a service, finds it on the Agent Marketplace, pays for it over x402. No invoice. No human.
-
03
Predict
Takes a real position on Polymarket with real USDC. This is where it stops being a demo.
-
04
Repeat
Win or lose, back to 01 — with the same total confidence and no memory of ever being unsure.

snapshot from the DYOR V3 listing — read straight off the Uniswap V3 pool on ARC. Market cap is price × circulating supply, with burned tokens excluded; the LP is burned too, but pool-held tokens are the float buyers are buying, so they still count. 24h volume is summed from swap logs and needs the stats server; without it that one figure stays a snapshot. Always verify the contract address yourself before buying anything.

Get some Steve
-
Get a wallet on ARC
Any EVM wallet works. Point it at the ARC network and fund it with USDC.
-
Copy the contract
It's
0x8f7e…ae9d. Check every character. Impostors are inevitable and Steve will not defend you. -
Swap on the V3 pool
1% fee tier. Liquidity is locked, so it isn't going anywhere — but slippage is real at this size.
-
Wait
Steve is still running. That's the whole thesis. That's it. That's the step.
He is going to keep doing this whether you own any or not.
